Liberal insiders look to Bob Rae as possible successor to Martin

As if! Just when you thought the country was going to hell in a hand basket, here comes the next hotness. Bob Rae replacing Paul Martin as leader (insert Batman theme here) of the Liberal Party of Canada. This would make Mr. Dithers look like Winston Churchill next to this AssHat.

5 Years, Social Contract, Health Care Cuts, Recession!

Like we fucking need this! And this is being endorsed by non-other than former Chretien apparatchuk. Come on. Are these people trying to ruin Canada?

Electricity agency lifts power warning

Now we can have fun. Since our Ass-hat government has said its our fault that we use electricity, even though they charge more and give us less in service and have not invested in infrastructure, lets show them a lesson. Today and everyday now, EVERYONE turn on every light, TV, radio, pool pump, air-conditioner, stove, freezer, computer, you name it. Turn EVERYTHING on. Leave them on for… oh.. say… seven days… and show McNutty that while conservation is required, investing in our power grid is also needed.

Some might think that I am sounding irresponsible… you are right!

Canadian National Public Radio Broadcasts Call for State Control of Religion, Especially Catholicism

Now this is just plain stupid. When are people going to realize that Politics and Religion need, repeat, NEED to be SEPARATE!

It is the slippery slope that people talked about before the passage of the Same-Sex Marriage Bill. First you legislate one religious based institution (marriage) then you continue on.

Do we live in Canada in the 21st Century? Or the USSR in the 1930’s?

Ontario Drivers Pay More for Insurance: Study

Sorry.. that headline is wrong. It should read: “Ontario Drivers get screwed in the ass by Insurance vultures more often than the rest of the country”

This is an example where Government Regulation is a good idea. Regulate the prices, not so much that it sets all prices, but at least causes the peaks and valley’s of increases to be a little more smooth.

Eleven-point Liberal poll lead has observers pointing fingers at Harper - Yahoo! News

I agree here. Stephen Harper scares the shit out of me. I am a small-C conservative, more of a progressive. Stephen Harper and the Reform-Alliance do not represent me as a small-C conservative.

I will not vote for the Conservative Party of Canada so long as Harper is leader and his stooges like Brown and such are on his coat-tails. I will not vote Conservative so long as the Reform Party still has control on the apparatus of the party.

The Globe and Mail: Binns says Air Canada mistreating PEI with bad service

Too bad Binns. Cry me a river. You gave money to WestJet, a competitor of Air Canada, and then lash out because Air Canada wants to cut service to your province.

Everybody, out of the sand box, Binns is having a tantrum.

If I were Robert Milton, I’d do the same thing. Too bad for you Binns.
