Ontario’s dumbass electric plan
Dilton McNutty has a great plan, the Ontario gov’t is going to buy excess energy from eco-nuts who generate their own energy and put back into the power grid. Great Idea! Except McNutty is going to pay 42 cents per kilowatt/hour. Currently we pay 5.8 cents per kilowatt on the first 600 kilowatt/hours and 6.7 each on the balance. So McNutty is going to pay 7 to 8 times what it sells the energy for.
