The Seaway Bridge crossing the retired Cornwall Canal and the St. Lawrence River in Cornwall, Ontario, has been going through a massive redevelopment project. This included construction of a new low-level crossing and the gradual removal of the North Channel bridge. In February 2014, the new bridge opened, ending 50+ years of use of the old North Channel Bridge.
