IROQUOIS — Seaway Intermediate (Grade 7 and 8) hosted two volleyball tournaments, the ‘A’ tournament on December 14th, and the ‘B’ tournament on December 19th.nnIn the ‘A’ tournament, the Seaway girls’ team lost to St. Marks in a close three set final. The boys’ team did not make it past the semi-finals.nnThe boys’ team from St. Mary-St. Cecilia made it to the boys’ final, beating Brockville Collegiate in three sets. The girls’ team from St. Mary-St. Cecilia did not advance out of the round robin portion of the tournament.nnThe ‘B’ tournament saw the Seaway boys’ team make it to the finals, losing to Thousand Islands in two straight sets in a close match.nnThe girls’ team lost to South Grenville in the semi-finals.
