(The Leader/Blancher photo)nnMORRISBURG – Three games, three more for the win column as the first place South Dundas Lions continue to build on their lead in the Atom B House league.nnThe team continued its run through the league, beating the Smiths Falls Bears twice and the South Grenville Rangers once.nnSouth Dundas visited Smiths Falls November 14th, bringing home two points in a 3-1 victory. Nick Carruthers, Kai Morrow and Mathieu Bazinet each scored for the Lions in the win.nnThe team then opened a two-game home stand November 15th, doubling the Rangers 4-2. Team captain Jordan Elliott picked up three points (two goals, one assist) while Morrow landed two more goals in the game.nnSouth Dundas then hosted the Bears November 18th at the Morrisburg, winning 6-1.nnElliott put the Lions on the scoreboard early in the first period.nnThe Bears countered late in the period, tying the game at 1-1. Elliott then scored his second of the game, the go-ahead-goal with less than two minutes remaining in the period.nnNoah Biemond put one past the Bears’ goalie with eight seconds remaining in the first period. Lions led the Bears 3-1.nnThe Lions scored three goals in the second period, with Morrow, Chase Alger, and Elliott scoring. South Dundas closed ranks in the third period and picked up their third win in the week.nnElliott had a hat-trick in the game, while Chloe Casselman had three assists. Leah Biemond and Bazinet each had an assist in the game as well.nnThe Lions add to their lead in the Atom B House standings with 19 points (9-0-1).nnThe Kemptville Panthers B1 team sit in second, four points behind the Lions.nnThe team heads to Brockville to take on the Braves in a home-and-home series starting November 25th.
