Jr. ‘C’ Lions to open training camp

FINCH – The Morrisburg Jr. ‘C’ Lions hit the ice September 8th at the North Stormont Arena for the first training camp and inter squad game. The team bought ice time in North Stormont due to the Morrisburg Arena renovation.nnThe Lions face off against the Cumberland Bandits in their first pre-season game September 9th at the Ray Friel Arena in Cumberland.nnAfter three more inter squad sessions September 10-12, the team will host the Metcalfe Jets in a “home” game in Finch September 17th. The team will start the season at the NCJHL season showcase September 23rd in Gatineau, taking on the Clarence Castors.nnThe Lions will play in Finch and at the Benson Centre in Cornwall until the Morrisburg Arena reopens.
